Fall News!

Now that summer is over and we are back in full swing this fall, WIN is gearing up for a new chapter and a busy 2015. There’s a lot going on, but let’s start with the most exciting pieces of news.

New Funding – WIN was chosen as 1 of only 10 organizations to be part of JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Small Business℠ Forward Initiative. This grant will support a whole new set of programs for the REACTOR initiative to enrich the industry, engage local community, and expand into assisting with international business development.

Partnership with OneRedmond – WIN is now partnered with OneRedmond , a nationally-renowned economic development innovator, recognized for providing an ecosystem that promotes a world-class business-friendly environment. The partnership is the cornerstone for the growth of the industry and for WIN and we are thrilled to have their support. OneRedmond has a strong focus on the game and interactive media industry and aligns their resources to assist our local industry grow.

REACTOR is Fueling Up –  WIN’s REACTOR initiative is now seeking applications for the following programs. There are no costs to the programs, but there are limited slots available.

 – 2-Day Intensive Boot Camp with Industry Professionals and Mentors

The Boot Camp includes basic entrepreneurial tools, common to most new ventures customized for the specific sectors/consumers that participating companies will be targeting.  This Boot Camp will also step teams thru a gap analysis for their specific product/company/team.  You will exit the boot camp with specific goals and action items to address these gaps. If you are an existing company with an MVP or MVP in development this is ideal for you.

 – Mentor Intensive Workshop

If you are an existing company, with existing products in at least an MVP if not beta state and need assistance in one of the following areas: Go To Market, Getting Featured by Apple/Google, Pitching and Fundraising, Ecommerce, or User Acquisition.

During this intensive-mentor workshop, you will consult with subject matter experts to kickstart your company to bring you to the next level.

 – Our new International Business Development Program

This program is designed for companies with established products needing assistance to connect with international partners and customers. Our first opportunity is during Mobile World Congress in 2015. If you are interested in learning more, please let us know.
